Pros: lot of great info, well presented, i learned a lot, i had a great time
Cons: boots smokes snacks
"This is an excellent course, not only to cover your NREMT recert, but to remember everything you loose over a couple years. Add to that the Wilderness addition and a lot of Remote Medicine questions come into focus. The setting was at the beautiful North Cascade Learning Center. This course is definately worth the money spent. A couple notes for those considering it: -bring boots that are comfortable yet easy to put on and take off quicly because you'll have to do that 30 times a day. -if you smoke, be prepared with electronic cigarettes or be willing to walk 200 feet to the parking area, the facility is a non-smoking area, although the course provides 10 minute breaks to fit them in between classes. - bring sugar snacks and what you like to drink (pop or whatever), meals are a little on the salad side be well prepared. -most importantly and I wish I would have, request your PHTLS book in advance of the course, reading it at night during the course you will find it hard to keep up. The course was partly refresher, partly all new information but definately a lot of fun and great hands on several times a day to help it all sink in. I plan on taking this course again when my recert starts approaching. Thanks RMI."
