A good tool to have in the airway bag.

Pros: Ease of use and disposable
Cons: Due to relatively small size and plastic constuction, it may become slippery to handle in the presence of heavy emesis.
"I've used the Easy Cap CO2 Detector on numerous "codes" in the field. They work well as an initial confirmation of tube placement, however, I feel that their accuracy is relatively shortlived and that they should be relegated to a "back-up" adjunct in the presence of an "in-line" ETCO2 detection device. The accuracy of the product can be jeopardized by loss of integrity of its airtight package."
