ENT diagnostic kit
Date:August 6, 2010
Pros: rugged, weather safe
Cons: otoscope suitable for field assessemnt only
"I brought this after seeing two in use overseas.
I use this kit as my primary diagnostic kit with added disposable thermometers, tongue depressors and a finger SpO2.
All items in the kit will still work if submerged which I wouldn't try with a regular otoscope. The Otoscope is sufficient for field diagnoses and the cobalt blue filter works well with the fluorescein strips, I used these the first time I took this kit in the field to exclude corneal/conjunctival abrasion."

Excellent purchase
Date:November 25, 2007
Pros: Functionality, ease of use, compact
Cons: Flashlight base can break at the screw in.
"I ordered this unit to replace a broken one issued to me. It arrived faster than expected and I was using it in the field the next day. It fits into my medics roll and also into my CUU pocket, so it can be carried everywhere.
Great item!"
